"What does Ted look like?"
 
   I've been looking at the banner above with the pics of a man and a woman. Is this the way you picture Ted?

Is this the way you picture Meg?

   I don't really see either of them in my head as what Ted and Meg look like. In all honesty, the guy on the left isn't all that attractive to me. But, I'm not really sure I can tell you what I think he should look like either, but it's always that way for me when I read any book. I do feel like SEP gives very detailed descriptions about her characters though. I've read the Twilight books several times now and I still really can't tell you what Edward is supposed to look like except that he's supposed to be pretty much the best looking guy ever, verse and SEP book in which we know so much more about her handsome leading men, right down the the color of their eyes

   For whatever reason when I read a book I tend to make up my own descriptions in my head and I don't always pay to close attention to the details the author gives me. Now in this case I was thinking about the pictures we have been looking at for months however I just reread the book and Meg's description really doesn't fit the cover picture. She has curly hair and I believe it is brown? I know at the end she does dye it red but I don't think it is ever described as straight. The Ted in my head is much more handsome than the picture here; tall, dark hair and drop-dead gorgeous.

   just fyi, the man on the banner is sep's son zach. and he is drop.dead.gorgeous. especially in person. and sweet and a talented musician. a lot of the music in her books is written by zach and and performed on his cds.
I don't know about meg either though. I have no pic of her in my mind.

   Wow! I was wondering about the male model above, but NEVER did I think it would be SEP's son. Personally, I think he's very attractive. I remember SEP commenting once (when we BEGGED for Ted's story) that Ted reminded her of her sons, so she couldn't write a book about him too soon because it would be like her sons growing up. Now, this makes me wonder if she used Zach as her model when she wrote CMI.

As for Meg, you're right as far as the curly hair. I'm not sure about her hair color in the beginning of the story, but it was red at the end.

Very interesting....

   Don't feel bad just because you have different tastes. I think the Banner Babe would be more fitting in some of my cowboy stories for some reason.

I loved the cover when it was first shown but I didn't after reading the story. I felt like it wasn't really her at all. She never clicked in my head even at the end. Meg just isn't a redhead in my mind.

I picture Ted TOTALLY different than the banner. More greek god perfection than rugged.

I swear I was thinking about Henry while reading the book ... at first it was a bit strange since the British/Texas accent did not quite work but then I just went with it and it was awsome ... Henry/Ted <3 ...

   I see either Christian Bale, Luke Wilson, or Rupert Penry-Jone. Henry is a good choice too. When I read the books, I kinda imagine what the man looks link in my heard, not exactly their description.
