"Tips for leaving whitespace for spoilers"

Here's a tip for when anyone wants leave white space, especially in the first post to begin a new topic that may contain spoilers:

(example of what happens when you leave lines of space using carriage returns only)

(example of what happens when you leave lines of space using a fullstop dot on each line)

The lines with only multiple carriage returns are ignored by the BB code as it recognises only one carriage return, thus bringing all of the text to the top of the post. So please, pretty please, remember to use a fullstop dot . on each line of space you want to leave as white space before you post a spoiler.

Ta muchly,
from someone who wants to remain spoiler free until the pb is released down here!

Wikipedia "A full stop or period (.) sometimes stop, full point, or dot".

You can use anything on the keyboard to be the one character on the line of carriage returns that create your 'spoiler space'.
