"White Sangria"

I've been meaning to post this for awhile, but SEP's cocktail post finally prompted me to get to it. This is by far my favorite Sangria recipe ever, but I can't claim it! I stole it from a GF who made it when we were at their house for dinner one night. It's so yummy and refreshing, and perfect for get togethers because it's actually better if you let it sit.

Ingredients
1 magnum bottle Rhine wine, chilled
2/3 cup peach schnapps
1/4 cup honey
1 large Granny Smith apple, peeled, cored and diced
1 orange, sliced, plus slices, for garnish
1 lemon, sliced
crushed ice
Club soda, ginger ale OR lemon lime soda

Directions:
Add all the ingredients except the soda and ice to a large pitcher. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 3 hours for the flavors to meld.
I prefer the ginger ale for mine, but all of the soda's taste great with this.

Add ice to wine glasses and add the sangria. Top with a splash of soda and garnish with an orange slice.

That does look tasty. I have a white wine sangria recipe which is decent, but I like that the fruit you use is strong and can't do any wrong with peach schnappes to me.
