"3 Minute Chocolate Cake!!!!"
 |
Wow, my son made this for me last night and it is SOOOO good! Make sure you have ice cream in the house as it makes it even better. Prepare ingredients in a large coffee mug or use a pyrex measuring cup (which works best I think) 4 tbsp flour 4 tbsp sugar 2 tbsp baking cocoa 1 egg 3 tbsp milk 3 tbsp oil 3 tbsp chocolate chips (optional--but I'd add it or you can add vanilla chips or whatever flavour you like) Splash of vanilla Add all dry ingredients into the mug and stir well with a whisk. Add egg, mix well. Pour in milk, oil chocolate chips and vanilla, mix again. Put mug/cup into microwave for 3 minutes using at least a 1000watt microwave. Enjoy!! I was just watching YTV (Canadian version of Nikelodeon), and they advertised a toy similar to an easy-bake oven, except you make the cakes in a real microwave. Sounds yummy, but dangerous...to my hips - Amal Anyone who says they will only have one life to live must not know how to read a book |

Oh my! These are terrific! I have a similar recipe but it uses a cake mix and you can just use a little at a time. If I can find it I will post it for everyone. A little twist that will make your cake super moist and yummy is to add about a rounded tablespoon of canned icing to the top before cooking in the microwave! Has anyone seen those commercials for individual serving cakes and/or brownies? This is exactly the same thing but homemade. Micah |

OMG! This totally hit the spot! We ran out of chocolate, ice-cream, we never keep cookies in the house, and for the last two days, I've been craving chocolate. Like, I was going to die if I didn't have some. I couldn't concentrate on anything...and then it hit me. I remembered Caro posting this 3 minute chocolate cake recipe. Though I have a suggestion: I tried making it in a regular soup bowl, but it was too small. I pulled out my small mixing bowl instead and popped that into the microwave. Surprisingly, the batter was enough to share between two or three people. Nevermind that I ate the whole thing myself - Amal Anyone who says they will only have one life to live must not know how to read a book |
