"Rachel Ray Fudge Recipe..."

This morning I made this for Zach's birthday celebration later today. Only fudge I ever made in my life and exactly as easy to do as she says. Please stop me before I eat anymore!!! Anybody else experimented with this?

Experimented with that combination of flavors or using condensed milk and chocolate chips to make fast fudge? The butterscotch looks good, I haven't made it before. I try to only make fudge at Christmas time because I can'tbe trusted to have it in the house.

This is a favorite around my family, Irish Cream Liqueur. I make a batch for Thanksgiving and we sip at it until Christmas.

Glad you enjoyed it

One of my friends made it and didn't like the undertones of butterscotch. I think substituting milk chocolate or dark chocolate would also work. This seems like a very flexible recipe.

Oh, I love butterscotch! An older member of my church used to make these little cluster things with butterscotch and Chinese crunchy noodles (the chow mein ones) and raisins and chocolate. It looked and sounded nasty but was so good. I used to buy them every year at the bake sale and, when I went to college, she sent me some. It was cute.

I also love fudge, but my last try was a disaster so maybe this one will work better for me.

I took my girls to a Sunday school pool party and the hostess tried to make this. Her fudge never hardened. But we had vanilla ice cream and she used the soupy fudge as a topping and it was DIVINE!

xoxo's, Liz
