"The Good Indian Wife"

Has anybody read this? It's gotten positive reviews so I'm looking forward to it, but I was wondering if anybody I knew read it.

It's for book club so I'm reading it regardless. It's only $9.66 on the nook which was exciting. I'll probably stall and read it the week before book club, but I'm curious and may read it *gasp* early.

I finished. The book was good. It was about an Indian man who goes home because he is under the impression his grandfather is ill, and he is, but he also wants his grandson married. Meanwhile, the man has a life in California and a girlfriend. So, through a quick misunderstanding, he ends up in a marriage arranged by his parents and heads home with his new Indian wife. He figures he'll keep his girlfriend and get divorced. At this point, the book switches to his wife's point of view which did make it interesting. I wonder if I would like the man more if it was in his point of view. Either way, it was a sweet story and has an interesting way of dealing with being from a different country - do you blend into your new country, become your new country, try to hold onto your old country. How much of yourself do you lose or find along the way? It wasn't a perfect book, but I did enjoy it overall.
