2. "Cathie Linz and Christine Warren"

I finally got a chance to read Cathie Linz'z latest, "Mad, Bad, and Blonde", and it was exactly the kind of book I was looking forward too. I've been in a major reading slump lately, and this book had everything I wanted. Really great read and highly recommend it to everyone, especially anyone with deep affections for Chicago Also struggled through a short story by Christine Warren, "Any Witch Way She Can", listed in the No Rest for the Witches Anthology that came out a few years back. The struggling was of no fault of CW, but completely my doing. I've been in such a bad reading funk that nothing appeals to me right now. Though, overall, I will admit that I did end up enjoying this short story after all. I've never read anything by CW before, so I may pick up one of her other books later on. - Amal Anyone who says they will only have one life to live must not know how to read a book |

10. "Early Dawn and What Happens in London. JQ"

Have just started Early Dawn, its usually a speedy read, because her books are easy to read and draw me in to want to sit and read. Am starting to listen to What Happens in London.Julia Quinn. The reviews on audible so far are positive and say it is humourous. That's what I'm looking for after my last one. Something to lighten up on! Kate New Zealand http://mistea.edublogs.org/ |

I'm reading "Stolen Fury" which is a contemp romance. Enjoying it very much. The heroine is older (38), intelligent, sarcastic and interesting. Hero is smouldering! It's set in the art history/treasure hunter type of novel, so those that like adventure and danger (and hot sex) might enjoy it. It's also part of a series and I think I'm reading the first one (have to check Amazon.com later on). ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ My blog, all about me, a lot of whining and some David Beckham worship - http://poptartnz.blogspot.com Follow me on Twitter http://twitter.com/poptartnz |

I’m finally out of the reading slump I’ve been in since Christmas and I’m devouring and immensely enjoying historicals by Amanda Quick, Lorraine Heath and Julia Quinn. Finished Mistress and Ravished by AQ, Between the Devil and Desire by LH (second book of her scoundrels series) and the 1st Bridgerton book ‘The Duke and I’ from Julia Quinn. Next will be the 2nd book of the Bridgerton series 'The Viscount Who Loved me'. Vera from Austria, Europe |

Hey Sarah! Unfortunately not! I'm sneaking in from the PC at work. Thanks to YOU I'm reading the series (you recommended 'In Bed With the Devil' at our last Euro Seppie meeting) and I love it! I’ve only read the first two so far but have already ordered the others. I’m awaiting the delivery within the next days. Can’t wait!

Yes, Love Means No Shame by Andrew Grey turned out to be a surprisingly good read. If you have an iTouch or iPhone, you could read it on them. I got so hooked by this story, that I got the prequel which is just as good. You can get the paperback for 13.49, but before you do that, wait for an email from me. This was a really great gay love story. I got hooked by it and pooled together my change so I could get a Amazon gift certificate from the change machine and get the prequel Love Means Courage which is just as good, if not better. FYI, the heroes are more beta than alpha, but oh so loveable; strong men who aren't afraid of emotions. Also, be forewarned there are elements of erotica, but the main focus is the love story. I would read the books in the order he wrote them: Love Means No Shame, first. Then, Love Means Courage. And then the third one, which got excellent reviews too. I finished The Summer of You by Kate Noble. It was a very sweet historical, I enjoyed it a lot. I just started reading Jill Shalvis' Instant Temptation. It's too early to tell but I really liked the 1st 2 books in this series so I hope this one will be as good. Linou France |

I finished "Stolen Fury" by Elisabeth Naughton, really liked it. Now I'm reading "Breakfast in Bed" by Robin Kaye and it's meh. I don't like the hero at all! He's a douche. I can't believe someone this inept is a psychology professor. He acts like a frat boy! So immature. I'm hoping he'll be redeemed soon, otherwise I'm going to stop reading and start the new Jill Shalvis I have. ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ My blog, all about me, a lot of whining and some David Beckham worship - http://poptartnz.blogspot.com Follow me on Twitter http://twitter.com/poptartnz |

This is my absolute favorite of the series. I loved it. It was great fun to see a young Geoff--and such a loving non-traditional family. I like the fact that the heroes stood up for themselves more than in Love Knows No Shame. And the chemistry/love between Cliff and Len is wonderful. I've started Love Means No Boundaries, and while the story is good, the editing is horrendous. What editing? Wrong names are used and the continuity is poor. It's unfortunate because the story is good. My favorite, though, is Love Means Courage. It's nice to see Geoff, Eli and Len again in Love Means No Boundaries, though. 52. "The Happy Onion by Ally Blue"

I don't know what it says about me, so enjoying gay love stories, but I do. It probably has something to do with my favorite family member being gay or I'm just weird. I was running into a reading slump and this saved me. This book is just great! Wonderful humor and great sex. It's definitely one of my favorites so far. Book description: Liberal vegan meets corporate carnivore. What could possibly go wrong? Thomas Stone has one sacred rule: Don-t Date The Boss. Ever. So when he finds out his new employer is the man he took to bed his first night in town, he-s less than happy. He doesn-t need any more complications in his life, and the way Phil makes him feel definitely qualifies as a complication. Especially since he can-t seem to keep his hands off the man. Philip Sorrells is thrilled to discover that the new bartender his manager hired for his restaurant, The Happy Onion, is the aggressive little blond he slept with once and can-t forget. Thom is Phil-s wet dream come true, from his angelic face to his fiery temper. For the first time, Phil hears the siren song of monogamy, and he-s tempted to follow it. When Thom leaves The Happy Onion for a job managing an upscale nightclub, it looks like a chance for him and Phil to be together without the whole boss/employee thing hanging over them. Instead, Thom-s new position brings out previously unsuspected differences in their world views. Differences with the power to destroy their fragile bond. So how will this nature-loving tree-hugger and corporate-ladder climber navigate this political minefield in the name of love? Very carefully. Warning, this book contains bad language, good music, vegan personal care products and lots of hot, dirty mansex. Dawn
