"oh dear, no new celebrations for awhile"
 
As once ofthe C&B advocates, I thought I'd better find something to celebrate and/or brag about. Let's see...

- I ran 3.1 miles today in the heat and humidity! And that was after lifting weights this morning, too. Go me!

- I got to go to the Romance Writers of America National conference this year. I met so many of my favorite authors, and I took some great workshops that I hope will make my writing better, and more importantly, sellable! I also got over 30 free signed by the author books at the publisher signings during the conference.

- One of my favorite authors, Barbara Samuel, aka Barbara O'Neal, not only won a RITA, but she complimented me on my toenail polish color. No, it was NOT a french pedicure, hee hee. It was a cool fuschia!

Any other braggarts out there?

Robin it was good to meet you at RWA. I'm glad all the workshops were worth it for you, and good luck! I had a blast just hanging around for those 2 days, and having the time with just SEP and the SEPPIES, that was so much fun!

And, thank you for posting here...I think I have updated enough on my DH...8 weeks today seems to be the magic point!

   I'm so jealous. Next year I'm going to the RWA conference and I'm going to get to meet all of you. It sounds like you had so much fun.

   3 miles! So impressed. I'm still trying to run all the way up our neighborhood hill. I can walk it, but can't make it to the top when I run.
