SPOILERS!* * * * Mine: "He'd reached the end of his patience, and with a sigh of pure regret, he placed a hand on each woman's shoulders. "I'm sorry to do this to you, ladies, but thruth is, Gracie passes the quiz just last night and consented to be Mrs. Bobby Tom." This is when Bobby Tom get his idea to pretend in front of the whole town that he's engaged to Gracie. But what I love about this scene is the nerve of Bobby Tom. He goes and hugs Gracie and smears her face with baby oil and dirt! Cracks me up! If you've read the book recently, you'll know what I'm talking about. So when the women leave, Gracie dumps the Ice Cream in Bobby Tom's pants! So funny! Oh, this, This! She had missed this unbearably. ...She told herself she would take no comfort from him. her betrayal ran so deep she had no right to comfort. But he stroked her hair and held her tight. I love : •When she tries to jump in the car and he is trying to drive away. •She gets drunk off the wine coolers •They have the big fight when she kicks his A$$ to the curb!~ Then he shows up at her apartment. • Ice cream scene. In response to message #0      At the end when he is holding Gracie on the side of the road and he says 'you can't, don't...leave' 'Don't go Gracie, please, we have to talk' 'You said you wouldn't take anything from me' 'I love you, don't leave' This is where Bobby Tom finally admitted how much he loved Gracie...all of his defenses are gone, all of his easy charm is stripped away.
