"I need opinions!!!"
 
   I have not yet read "Hot shot" "Fancy Pants" nor "Honey Moon"...if you could tell me which one I should read first, I would be most grateful! I've read some amazing things about all of them on here and perhaps things I shouldn't have read...but it was all accidents.

I'm leaning towards "Fancy Pants" just because of Ted's book that's coming out soon..but not nearly soon enough! I've read "Lady be Good" and I'm not a golf fan at all....at least..not much of one. I don't really play it and it bores me when I watch it...but if it's involved with a loving romantic story...I'm all over it.

Opinions would be nice! Hit me with em!

   Haha! Good thing you said that because I am reading that one first and everyone keeps on saying that! I really hope it turns out that way and is just as fabulous as every one of her books! I was a little wary though...since it was one of her first books. Usually author's first books aren't as good...but since everyone keeps telling me how good it is, I'm taking their word for it! and I also feel sad because Ted's book is coming out and I don't really even remember him from Lady Be Good. Shall I read this one, then that one, and then when the time comes read his book? I think yes

   Fancy Pants has some characters who appear again in later books. But Honey Moon and Hot Shot are my favorites of the three you mentioned and are stand alones.

   I just finished reading Honey Moon today.. my third SEP read & it was excellent! It really touched me at the core this one. I've got Hot Shot so think I'm on to that one next.

   Just chekced out a library book with Honey Moon and Hot Shots in compilation. Honey Moon pub precede Hot Shot by a couple of years and I assume there's a connection so read Honey Moon before Hot Shot.

   I'm reading Fancy Pants (or trying to) right now...I am just sooo....uhh...it's the hardest of her books I've ever tried to read. It's just a little...how do I explain this...I just keep on wanting to get the beginning read so I can get onto where she and Dallie meet and start the whole chemistry fight thingy. I'm still at the part where she's arrived to start shooting her movie thingy...and I cannot seem to get past it! *sigh*

   just re-read FP but haven't read Honey Moon or Hot Shot i think it's about time i read them though b/c I've read everything else she has written and i'm just dying here waiting for Teddy's book to come out in what seems like a million more months but i can't decide which one to read first any suggestions?

   i just read Honey Moon and I highly recommend it! its about a child actress and thats all i can say about it.

its soo touching and just a great book ... Im glad I read it!

   I'd definitely read both. Honey Moon made me cry in parts but had a happy ending overall. I loved Hot Shot too because of the time period it was set in and all the info about the beginning of the computer era. Plus, of all of SEP's books, I think Hot Shot was the only one where someone almost got killed, so there was some suspense.

   I have read FANCY PANTS and HONEY MOON.
I waited a VERY long time to read both because I knew they were very very different from SEP's other books.

Fancy Pants was not as much of a stand out to me. If I remember there is a very long time before they even meet and then a long time until they are "rejoined". I have a hard time with this type of story line. This is not due to bad writing it is more about my personal "reading" style. LOL I don't need a whole lot going on in my romances. I guess I am a simpleton. LOL I like a very concentrated love story. This is a good one though TOOTHBRUSH scene is my very favorite of the entire book.


I waited a REALLY REALLY long time to read HONEY MOON. But I will tell you I loved this book! It is one of my favorites. That said I tend to lean towards the really emotionally "heavy" story lines. My two fav SEPS are Kiss an Angel and Dream a little Dream.

If you are struggling with FANCY PANTS take a break and read HONEY MOON I think it moves a bit faster is that is what is hanging you up.

   Yes Honeymoon was my third SEP read & I definitely found it hit me more emotionally haha compared to the previous reads (Natural Born Charmer & It had to be you). Definitely has its funny moments too. I haven't followed any particular chain in reading as I'm knew and were given these books by my mother whose a fan & I think one of her stand out favs is Natural Born Charmer so she insisted I read that & see how I go (my first romantic comedy you see haha) now I'm hooked!
