"Just Imagine"

I have seen many threads dedicated to the Chicago Stars books and to the other contemporaries such as Ain't, KAA, and WID4L. I was wondering what everybody thought of Just Imagine.

I just recently started reading SEP so I don't know if this is her only historical or not. Regardless, I absolutely loved it. I love the whole girl disguised as boy then growing up to be a beautiful, head-strong woman theme. I love the attempts of Baron Cain to stay away and do the "right" thing only to fall even harder during those attempts.

I must say that Just Imagine is one of my favorite books. It has a special place in my heart. I wouldn't mind reading more books set in this time period, but I also wouldn't mind reading more Stars books and any other contemporary that SEP has written. I guess I just like them all, but I do think this one is special.

   I agree completely...
i love all SEP books, but Just Imagine has a very special place in my heart. There's something so vulnerable and sensitive about it...even though the characters are so headstrong and passionate...it's really an amazing book.

I liked the book very much as I recall. I don't quite remember the book in details since it's been a while since I read the book. But I do remember falling in love with Baron.
