"Crybaby - Which Book?"

   Which book has made you cry the most??
They each have their moments for me, but...
1) DALD - The hardship that Rachel and her son were going through. I re-read this a few months after having my son, so I could imagine how it might feel to be a mother failing (but trying her best) to provide. Also, Gabe's heartbreaking loss. I guess the combination of the two really clawed at my heart.
2) THOM - When Molly lost the baby. Such was so desperate and even though Kevin didn't even like her he helped her.
I guess you can see what really tugs at my heart strings.

1. Fancy Pants, in the statue of liberty, when Dallie comforts Ted and telling him he is his father.
2. This heart of mine, the misscarriage-scene.

   The books that made me cry were Hot Shot, Honey Moon, and This Heart of Mine. Each of those books made me cry like a baby.

   That would have to be THOM. First the miscarriage scene all the way until Kevin shows up and makes Molly go with him to the campground. I just felt so bad for Molly being that depressed and not wanting anyone to know.
And then, later, when Phoebe and Dan are at the campground and confront Molly and Kevin and Molly explains to them why Kevin brought her to the campground. Phoebe is hurt that Molly didn't turn to them, and Dan is upset with Kevin and wanting to know his intentions toward Molly. Gets me every time!

   To me it was This heart of mine. It was my first "grown up" book and I cried very much, especially the moment molly's loosening her baby...

   The book that made me cry the most, (I;ve dried for all the ones I've read) was HONEY MOON, when her husband is shot. She is so hurt, she feels so empty, and one of the parts taht made me weep like a little girl was when she puts his tooth brush into her mouth and sucks on it. *sniff* I got teary eyed just remembering.

   KAA - when he is healing her wounds and she can't even look at him because he broke her heart
MMIYC - the ending was perfect and it made me cry - she is not perfect, but she is perfect for him *cry*
HM - when Dash died I cried my heart out, and the ending -her speech was heartbreaking ...

I cried when Rosie Bonner was born in NBBM.
And I cried when Molly lost Sarah in THOM.

   I think that the SEP book that made me cry the most was DALD. I have read this what seems like at least a hundred times. It makes me cry (basically from the beginning) every time I read it. It touches me so much how that a tormented character can overcome his demons and find true love.
