"The "Family Tree""

Well, the new site ... OK, I guess it's the new new site, since the old design wasn't around very long ...

The Books Family Tree is interesting, but I have a two questions and a comment.

It's not really clear what the dashed lines are, but there's one between Glitter Baby and Natural Born Charmer. What's the connection?

What's up with the graphic for the Wynette, Texas books? It's all ... weird.

I'd add a dashed line from Fancy Pants to Heaven, Texas. (Assuming that SEP intended the very subtle connection and that it wasn't just her subconscious at work!)

The relationship between NBC and Glitter Baby is really short-lived, but there's a scene where the heroine of GB gets mentioned, as being the "it" girl in the 70's or whatever decade GB was set in. It's the first time, Fleur gets mentioned in any of SEP's other books, so it was a pretty big connection for us fans.

I'm not sure what you mean about the graphics of the Wynette series, nor do I get your reference to FP to HT...

Holly Grace's creepy (OK, WAAAY beyond creepy) uncle was a Denton. Maybe it was subconscious, but I can't help feeling that SEP was subtly linking HT to FP.

I just meant the weird double boxes: thin lines, thick lines, one over the other.

Concerning the Family Tree-- The connection between GB and NBC is, you're right--SUPER SUBTLE. So subtle, I probably should get rid of it. Just a passing mention of Fleur. The link between GB and WHAT I DID FOR LOVE is more direct. There's no connection between FANCY PANTS and HEAVEN, TEXAS other than both being set in Texas. There is, however, a direct connection between FANCY PANTS and LADY BE GOOD. I also have FIRST LADY marked wrong. We'll get that fixed next month. Who knew it would be so hard?!I did want this set up before "Ted's Book" came out because of its links with FANCY PANTS, LADY BE GOOD, WHAT I DID FOR LOVE, and FIRST LADY.

Basically, our FAMILY TREE is still a work in progress.
