When is too far, too far? I recently met someone...gorgeous (and I mean GORGEOUS!!) and he's super smart and very sweet, a health freak - he goes on runs at three in the morning, and he's a "Lord of the Rings" super fan.  My friend, Jessica, used to work with him at the Warren theater here in Wichita, and I decided to ask her about him. In a nutshell, she said that he as basically arrogant, and a bit of a womanizer. BUT, I don't know if I can really trust her judgment. I have always thought that she hated me. She's one of those girls who is so GD beautiful that every other girl is mentally taking a knife to their wrists every time she walks into a room with a lot of hot red blooded males there...sh picks up guys left and right.
Should I completely trust her judgment? I mean, since she gets hit on 24 freakin 7, she probably thinks all guys are tools. So please, for my sake...can you guys describe me the difference between a nice guy and a womanizer? What are the traits that they may have that classify them into each catigory...I can answer questions because, guys...this guy is.....delish. JUST SAYING. xD

Hahaha. Thanks guys! He actually invited me to come in to his "tabletop" game store today and play a game with him. He knows that I paint and I told him that I've been wanting to paint LOTR's characters (and this has nothing to do with him likeing LOTR so much hehe) and he said to stop by today and he'd break out a demo LOTR game so I could maybe paint it....and play it with him while I was there.  Gahh...he's so sweet and so nice, but I will keep my guard up and just be friends...I don't want him to get the wrong idea...like me being a crazy obsessed, needy girl. lol BUT, there is just one concern I have.... My older sister Becky is a flight attendant, and so she spends most of her life flying, dealing with unruly passangers, and then she goes out with the pilots and the other flight attendant afterwards. ....okay, basically all of the pilots she has met are complete scum bags...and she's dated a lot of them...but she doesn't know that they are douches until she finds out that they have numerous girl friends and ladidadida.
What about the option of a guy being a crazy womanizer guy who is so good at his craft that even the smartest of women cannot catch it? What if they know all the tricks..how to be nice, curtious, and how to dig deep inside of your soul to win you and then tear you apart by revieling that they are just another asshole? Not saying at all that Seth is that type of guy. But who knows??? I don't want to put myself down here, I really don't, but Seth is like a GOD (not really hehe) he could be a gladiator or a guy off of 300. He is so absolutely gorgeous and his bisceps are a gift to mankind!! He's just...oh man, Becky said that when I showed her his picture she actually started drooling...xD I'm just, gonna take it slow...even though I know that today while playing that board game, I'm gonna be wanting to pounce on him. xD Hahahaha. Thanks again guys. Okay..I couldn't resist..here are some photos...and I know that they look "douche-bag-ish" but his friend is a photographer and wanted to use him as a subject. lol...and I don't mind at all!!!

Thanks Amal, hehehe. and thanks everyone else, you said it all. I went to his store today. Oh my lord!!! xD I had to physically restrain myself from leaping on him. hahaha. just kidding. But seriously, I have come to the conclusion, that he's a total NERD!!!! xD He told me that he's obsessed with The Lord of the Rings, but I just didn't know how much...lolollol!! When I walked in the store, here were at least 20 nerdy dudes playing a card trading match game thing called Magic, and he was standing at a table with little miniture lotr figurines on it...he smiled up at me as he looked up and saw me and when I got to the tabe, he handed me a box with my own Rohan set in it. My hands were shaking so bad because I was like, "Omg, he's so gorgeous, and his smile...gah...I might just have an orgasm right here and spoil everything." xD!! hahaha. and then he explained that we were painting them and then going to play a game with them later.
I was thinking.....hahahaha! A nerd! And I thought that he was a jock, womanizer kinda guy..but he's just a nerd who happens to look sexy in a white t shirt and jeans and looks more like a pro football player...but he likes to paint figurines and play with them!! My kind of guy. So, he stayed at his shop for about 15 minutes and then he had to leave for his other job, which is working that the Warren theater here in Wichita to make extra monies. He told me I could stay as long as I needed, and fooleshly, I let myself feel like he was just using me but then he asked me if I could come in later this week to work on them again.
So I ended up staying at his store, painting a little horse with a warrior on it for two straight hours. xD It was really fun, and really tedious, and it sucked cause he was only there for a little while.
I just got a text from him saying, "WOOOOW!!!! Your horse looks amazing!!! GEEZ!!!!" ....so I'm guessing he liked it? lol. and then he told me that I could come in any time I wanted...and that he was looking forward to seeing me on Wednesday which is the next time I'm going in...
Good...bad? Is he using me just so I will paint figurines? He told me that it was my own personal batch, and he said that I could have the set for free....so I'm guessing not. He's giving me the set for free, and not selling it. So he couldn't possibly be using me for that.
But....OMG. ...and you aren't pedofiles in any way. He's 20 years old. Young...but not young enough for you to be a pedo. lol. ......AHHHHHHH!!!!! OMG!! xD!!!! The dear Lord has answered my prayers! hahahaha.
Advice? .......and I know that I need to just be friends first. I got that, but anything else? hahaha. Thanks guys. You are the best Emily

Wow, he is HOT!!!! I sure hope he turns out to be as nice as you think he is, what a catch if he's the real deal. As Amal said, it's best to start as friends first anyway so take your time! And sometimes you just have to take a chance, but there are also red flags. Guys who are secretive about chunks of their time, who walk away to take phone calls, who keep you away from their house, who avoid introducing you to friends and family... those are the guys with something to hide. Doesn't necessarily mean they're scum, but I'd smell something fishy and be keeping my eyes and ears peeled. Your sister's in a bad situation where she meets mostly pilots; they're on the go so much it's really easy to literally hide a girl in every city. Tracey

Okay guys.....here is the DEAL!!
Sunday: He invited me to his store, I found out he is a complete nerd but still had my doubt because of various reasons and one being that I still didn't know him that well yet.
Tuesday: We hung out by ourselves at his shop painting Lord of the Rings figurines for the second time. I got to know him way better than I had Sunday mainly because I had him all to myself. And I found that we clicked on so many things! We have that thing where we practically think the same things and say the same things. We love all of the same things from movies, music, tv shows. He doesn't like to watch tv, neither do I. He loves reading, so do I. He loves the book "The Perks of being a wallflower" so...do...I. Shoot....I messed up..Tuesday is morphing into Wednesday (today) lol...oh well. I will continue xD Okay well I saw him again today, and we kept on saying the same things at the same moment, and we would shout out that we were both awesome because of the same things that we liked. We just really really connected and it seems like we are TWINS. We like the same things, and dislike the same things. And this is what REALLY REALLY got me....... - He told me that when he was in high school, he was one of those guys that was really shy and just didn't talk to anyone. I told him flat out that he didn't seem at all that kinda guy and he says, "Yeah...I get that a lot. And I truely don't look it." And then he said that he started working out at the end of his high school career and that's why he has the body of Zeus. He told me that instead of eating lunch in the cafeteria, he would eat lunch at his locker and then go to the library and read. .......are you thinking what I am thinking here? That explains why he is so gosh darn good looking. But he's a total nerd and a not crazy one at that, he's super polite (and I did observe how he treats everyone.) He treats all of his costumers really well, he treats his friends and his friends girlfriends with complete respect, everyone seems to love him and respect him. Every time he sees me come in through the door he smiles at me and says a polite hello. He's just an all around dream boat. Can I do my happy dance now? p.s. I am taking down the photos know (since I know how) and so take a last look of major privacy exploitation (sp?) ..hahaha. Emily
