"Can I please BUY a break?"
| |
My husband had a conference in Branson, MO at a swanky resort and after the disastrous summer we've had, I thought it would be a nice getaway. Shopping is not normally hazardous to your health however my outing ended in a trip to the emergency room!! I was just about to go to my car when I passed a kitchen store that had interesting stuff in the window. I got a cup of coffee they were sampling and continued to browse. They had a strawberry slicer on display (similiar to an egg slicer but spring-loaded). I was trying it out when the thing just flew out of my hand and hit my other hand. It sliced my middle finger on my right hand in two places! It bled like crazy!! Blood mixed with coffee all over me, the floor and the display. They had to call security to take me to my car in a golf cart. The ER glued the finger shut and gave me a tetanus shot. Tell me, when does this dark cloud that has been stalled over my head for months move on??????!!!!!!! Cheryl St. Charles, Missouri |

Okay, all Seppies together now. Repeat after me. "Ooggie, Boogie, Floogie, Day. Begone black cloud and White cloud stay." Everybody point your fingers at Cheryl and wiggle them. This is sure fire magic and your luck is sure to change. Steph in Oregon Okay, Okay I never claimed to be a poet. |

The store was very helpful and accommodating. The assistant store manager was previously an EMT so she bandaged it up but I could tell it had not stopped bleeding. I'm much better with other people's blood than I am with my own!! Thanks for the magic Seppie spell! It has been quite a spring and summer. I can use all the help I can get!! Cheryl St. Charles. Cheryl, So sorry that another "incident" happened. I think you need to get some good luck charms but barring that I'm sending SEPPIE WHITE LIGHT your way that no more bad stuff happens to you. Hali Queens(1 of the 5 Borough's of New York City) |
