My Father came in last night and is safely under my roof. Thank the good Lord, cause I wasn't going to rest my weary head til I actually saw him. I want to thank you ladies for your prayers, concerns, emails, and white light. You have no idea how much they were appreciated and I felt the love coming my way. FYI, turns out dad is 76, not 73, which makes it worse! He said the conditions in Nicaragua were really bad and he stayed in his hotel room for the 3 days. He said the poverty there was overwhelming. Kids begging for coins or food outside of restaurants, street corners, etc. And my Dad was staying in a touristy part of town, but still felt uneasy. Poor Nicaragua, they haven't been able to catch a break in a long time. It seems like they just have the worst luck. Costa Rica is a stark contrast. You just don't see that level of poverty here. So thank you again ladies. you have no idea what a comfort is was to know that he was being prayed for. |
