"No Air conditioning for 2 days!"
 
   No, this isn't a pity post. It's a hallelujah (sp?) post. Our horrible heat and humidity finally broke, and I've had the house open for 2 days. Wrote on the porch all day yesterday for the first time in weeks. Yeah! (Also hit page 200 of Lucy's book!)

   I have NO interest in baseball, so I have no idea who the Cubs are even playing tomorrow. I'm just happy to #1 get out of the office, #2 I don't have to drive, #3 it won't be STUPID hot out, and #4 I get a free lunch. Life is good sometimes!!!

   My husband and I are going to a Washington Nationals game next week with some friends. I think baseball is like watching paint dry. I'm going to people watch and eat junk food.

   My brother in law is a nasty White Sox fan. I believe the Twins are THREE GAMES AHEAD right now.

How nice! I am jealous!
I am just counting the hours until we finally have our OWN house again! Then we will have two large and lovely porches to enjoy just as the weather here starts to cool off.

   YAY ! for progress on Lucy's book. That's what I love to hear.

We have had rain every single day for the past 2 blankity blank weeks. You would think I live in Seattle or something. I swear I am solar powered and without the sun I can't really function.

As far as baseball goes - get this, this kinda stuff only happens to DH... one of the owners of the D-backs came into to the office as a new patient last week and gave Jon tickets to a game in HIS seats any game any time. holy crap ! We are going in Sep. I asked DH what would happen if I had to go on bed rest or something (hey, it happened with the first pregnancy) he said he would leave me home and take the boys. At least he's honest.
