   Hey everybody, I am going into surgery to have a marsupialization done on Monday. Does anybody have experience and can share? You can do so via email as well. san.reichardt@gmail.com

   It will be done in the hospital, but I can go home in the afternoon. Hopefully, if it all works out fine. I am a bit nervous, cause it is a minor surgery thing, but what freaks me out is the location. ;o)

I read about it. Yeah, I can understand being nervous based on the location. All in all, it really does seem that it is similar to having to get stitches after giving birth. If that is the case be sure your doctor gives you some stool softeners. Also the sitz baths are WONDERFUL! Do those as often as you can.

   I don't know anything about it, but I wanted to send good vibes for the procedure. The technology available for these types of procedures is so amazing these days, so hopefully you'll have a quick recovery time.

   I don't know anything about it but if its a minor surgery you should be okay. had an ovarian cyst removed when i first had the Mirena inserted. Wishing you loads of luck.

   Sanna,

Wishing you the best. Healing from this isn't that different than when the cyst was acting up, except now you will feel better everyday. Micah is right. Sitz baths are the answer. You will probably be close to completely yourself in a week or less. And, this is a final cure! No more problems with Mr. Bartholin.

(Am I the only one in the world that strongly objects to parts of a woman's body being named after a MAN?!!!! Trust me ladies, Mr. Bartholin never went through this.)

Sanna, I'm almost positive this is what my cousin had about a year and half ago. She had surgery too. I'll email her and find out if that was what it was and if so I'll pass your contact info to her.
