"Crushed"
 
My 49 year old aunt is in hospital. Her breast cancer returned few months ago and the kemo isn't helping. The doctors said they've done all that was in their power. Her liver is failing, they had to put her a diaper and they give her morphia to ease her pain. She could die any moment.
My favorite person in the world. Don't know what to say...

I'm so sorry Iva. If there was one disease I would love to see a cure for it is cancer. It's a horrible disease that touches all of us at some point in our lives in some way, shape or form. I pray that your aunt goes peacefully and I am sure she knows how much you love her.

my heart breaks for you.... so very sorry. 49 is too young to go. but at least the medicine is keeping her from pain, i hope you can find some comfort in that. we on this board love you and will keep you close in our thoughts and prayers. pls post anytime you want to vent.

   so sorry to hear this... My Aunt passed last year and she was only 50. The cancer thing is so hard...

Thank you all.
I still can't believe this is happening. I saw her a month ago and she was looking good, she was laughing, cooking and talking me about all those new books she'd read.
And now, the person who radiated with joy, happiness and love is laying in the hospital thanking God for the every day she wakes up alive.
Even though she is married for my uncle for only 8 years she had a big impact on my life. She is one of those people who are easy to love, but hard to forget.
