I think it's because the mood in our office is very fun and festive today. The kids are starting back to school in some areas, one of our co-workers turned 40 today and we are having an ice cream baby shower for another. Fun day for a Tuesday. Here is what I've been thinking about all day. It's very deep stuff... I think Ethel is the best grandma name ever. It's just fun to say! I think I might change my name when I have grandchildren so I can be Grandma Ethel. I met my new next door neighbor yesterday. It turns out they own my very favorite Asian Fusion restaurant! I'm very excited and I hope I can find out the secret to their Fresh Mango Shrimp. Last but not least, Did anyone else notice that yesterday was 8/9/10? What are your random thoughts today? Please share so I don't feel like a freak. I used to pride myself on a mediocre command of the english language. I don't know what happened. I could blame it on the fact that I have had 2 adult children move back home, my 3rd is going through a divorce that, from all viewpoints, is senseless. My FIL had 2 strokes, my son lost a dear friend in an accidental drowning, my sister-in-law is dying of cancer (probably within the week) and I desparately need to find a job! So here's 3 positive things: It's raining outside and it is that fun, wonderful summer drencher that we needed so badly. I am going to a Chamber of Commerce meeting where all the people on the committee are fun. I finished reading Hester Browne's The Little Lady Agency and the Prince and it was very entertaining.
