"The results are in...."
 
Well today was 'test' day for me. Although I cheated and did a home test on Friday. I just couldn't stand the idea of finding out by phone call while at work. Friday's home test was a negative. I knew there was little hope that today would be a positive but I have heard of women getting a negative at home on the same day they get a positive blood test. So a part of me was holding out that Friday's test was wrong. Nope, Friday's test was right. I'm disappointed but not angry. How can I be angry when I am SO blessed with the two children I have? I may have experienced infertility for the past 18 years but I have two children to show for my efforts when many, many women never get that chance ever. So I am counting my blessings and embracing my children....oh and I think DH and I should take an awesome vacation

I am sorry that Friday's test wasn't wrong. I agree, you do have a great outlook on things!

I'm sorry too about the results. Keep that good attitude and you'll get through it...I know you & DH are dissappointed but at least you tried. You are lucky to have two beautiful children that you both love very much.

Have a wonderful vacation with DH! Yes you both deserve it.

   I'm so sorry to hear your test results, but you seem to have the right attitude about it. Hang in there. Even if you can't get away for a vacation, I think you are due for a spa day.

   Caro,

I'm sorry for the negative results. A vacation sounds wonderful. Your two children sound even better! You have a great attitude.

Blood tests can detect smaller amounts of hCG than home tests. That's why they turn positive sooner.
