"all stars baseball over"

#1 grandson's all star bid is over.

And it was ugly.

They played this weekend against enormous kids...I heard a few were 14 years old and he's 12.

someone, well, it was me, started the rumor the other team was on steroids...

Friday night 12-2
Sat. morning 15 -2

He never even made it to base and he's got one of the highest RBIs on the team.

Ugly.....

Poor Lil Sis. Far more traumatized than my adorable nephew.

Gosh, does this bring back memories!!

I can't tell you how many tournaments/all stars/league games I've sat through with DS (age 23 now) where age was called into question!!! I know that kids all grow at different rates but REALLY?????

I miss/go through withdrawals just thinking about how much fun that time period was! I miss the friends we made through sports as well as getting to watch my son play.

It sounds like watching a grandson play is 100 times better! Can't wait! (he's only 19 months old, how soon is too soon?????)
