"come as you are party"

Are we allowed to be cute as a button when Lil Sis isn't here to chime in?? Because I went for a haircut and was told I was looking cute as a button. My favorite denim capris, a black scoopy neck tank top with pleats around the neckline, light makeup, a new chocolate lip gloss, fun new necklace and earring set I got on vacation- big black disk with multicolored dichroic glass inlaid. And my new haircut? Yep, you guessed it, cute as a button! We changed the style a bit, went for more long bangs than the long layers I've had so it's shorter around my face. Love it!
So, what are you wearing?

   Not my best, but not my worst: wearing my usual pair of black dress pants, my favourite purple scoop necked top (it’s flattering from the bust, but not so much from the waist). And my favourite pair of gold chain sandals that I’m starting to realize may be the last season I get to wear them
Hair is in a messy half pony-tail. Didn’t have time to blow-dry it this morning and it’s too long to do much else with, so half pony-tail it is. No makeup only because I don’t want to draw attention to my super busy eyebrows and the mustaches that is starting to need combing, lol. Yep, going to take care of that tomorrow when I go back to visit my parents before I fly out on Saturday.
Tracey – you definitely sound cute as a button! Can’t wait to see your new hair cut in less than a week!!

We'll see how it looks when I fix it myself! She blew it out with a big round brush. I love that look but am way too impatient to stand around with a blow dryer when I can scrunch goopy stuff in it and let it air dry.

All purple!
I have a purple halter type top with darker purple butterflies. A purple beaded bracelet, silver watch. Darker purple linen capris (despite hating capris, I loved the color and had to have them) and tan heels/sandals. Purple beaded studs, too, and a ponytail. White shawl in the office.
My bag is the new bag I bought which is not purple. I do have a few purple bags, but I thought it would be overkill. Oh, and my fingers and toes are a light lavendar which is a coincidence.

   Uhm...at least I am color-coordinated!
Blue shorts, at least 10 years old, and a too short (because it's so old that it doesn't really fit me anymore) light blue spageti-strap top.
No bra, hair that smells like chlorine because I was at the pool in the morning. Yellow nails & toes though

   I'm wearing a super cute new shirt I got a couple of weeks ago for our family pictures because we all had to wear white shirts and khaki bottoms and all of my white shirts were icky.
It's a sleeveless crisp off white cotton/linen blend with kind of a halter neck and it has this kind of a woven pattern cut out along the top that is very fun but hard to describe. If we're friends on Facebook you can see it in my Family Photo 2010 album.
Anyway, I'm wearing that shirt, with a black short sleeve fitted cardigan over it so I can wear it at work, black boot cut pants and Isaac Mizrahi snakeskin ballet flats.
My hair is in a low ponytail and I have on a fat silver bangle bracelet and my favorite silver hoop earrings.

Well I am NOT cute as a button, but had a dental cleaning this morning so at least I put on capris, navy blue and a blouce...blue and white checked with lighthouses on it instead of one of my knit tops. I did put on my navy blue tennies this morning, but am barefooted not.
My hair is 'overgrown'. I had it last cut before DH's surgery (June 14) and I need a cut badly. I called and will get it tomorrow. DH isn't ready to go in his to be cut (the same gal does us both), so I'll trim hims up and she'll have to fix it later. She just laughed when I told her that.
But I did get a sticker from the girl who did my teeth today that is a picture of a princess with "Sweet Patient" on it becuase my x-rays were good and she didn't have to do too much scraping! I asked for a lollypop, but she just laughed and gave me a sticker and said 'the kids don't want them, but the big kids do!'. I forgot I had it stuck to my shirt and stopped to pick up lunch on the way home and I couldn't figure out why the girl at Applebees was laughing at me!

I'm not really cute as a button cos I'm sitting on our beach house balcony (trying to work but my internet connection is really slow cos I'm connected through my iPhone on MacBook) and noone can see me except Joe.
I'm wearing black hello kitty panties and a tank top, it's 11:54 pm and it's sooooooo hot I'm thinking of running to the beach and get a late night bath

I'm not that cute today, although the clothes I'm wearing are fine, I just don't feel foxy and stylish. I think it's because I don't do "casual" dress very well (it's a Friday and we have "casual Friday" in the office. I'm much better when I'm dressed up. Even on the weekends I don't tend to dress down much. Sorry, rambling.
Anyway I'm wearing dark denim jeans (straight leg), brown boots with a heel. Black tunic top with black long merino cardigan. Lots of chains and necklaces (silver, all shapes) and stacked bangles. Plus my shiny blingy MK watch and silver rings.
I'm also wearing my brown Gucci glasses, full make up and super fab nails (I have Chanel Particuliere on my fingernails).

   I may not be cute right now but I sure am comfy. Just have on a long, sundress in tiny blue and white checks, panties and no bra. Still have my full makeup on from earlier and my hair looks good, but maybe a little flat in back from taking a little nap. I'm also barefoot.
Should have caught me earlier when I was about to leave to have lunch with my girlfriends. It's 8:30 p.m. here right now. So should I ask what you're all wearing now? No, just kidding.

   It's cool today, so I'm wearing a fitted, slate blue, scoop-necked shirt with sleeves to the elbow, my nice, dark blue straight leg jeans with chocolate brown strappy wedge sandals. Silver, Asian character dangly earrings, chunky silver bracelet. So, not one of my fav outfits, but my hair is definitely cute as a button, since I had it cut & colored today

   You caught me at a hot time - and not hot in the same sense my youngest daughter told me i was yesterday when i wore a dress to go out.
Hot as in its so blazing hot if i wear anything skimpier I could come to work in my bikini. Today I am wearing a shot denim skirt, what my husband calls 'Jesus sandals", and a violet sleveless top that I love. I pulled my hair a bit from the bottom even though its ont he shortish side and i could not even bear the big earrings i usually wear. Just returned from the girls' swimming lesson and have no energy to get back to work!

   You've finally caught me on a cute day. I just had my hair done and I love the color (red) and the cut (short and layered). I have on a dark purple tank with a lace edge and a short sleeved multi-colored jacket over top with boot cut Cruel Girl jeans (my favorite) and leather boots. For jewelry, it's a horsehair braided necklace with amber and amethyst and the same for earrings.

   Wait a minute! Who bumped this? I'm sure we had another come as you are since this thread started. I distinctly remember I looked decent for a change...
Actually, I'm not too bad tonight. Work has been horrible for about three months now and I determined to pick up my spirits as I left the office this Friday evening.
I came home, re-did my pedicure. DH actually voted for a repeat on the "Teal the Cows Come Home" (not that I noticed any great measurable benefits of his enjoyment of that hue...but that would be another post, right?)
So, I am wearing white jean capris, a navy boat neck top, with a huge white gauze scarf printed with navy anchors (Navy Mom), silver sandals and teal toes!

OH BOY OH BOY OH BOY!!!!! I am dressed for this one!
I just got my haircut today and I LOVE IT! I am wearing a black cotton dress that goes just below my knees. It has an empire style barely there waist with a matching sash that ties off to the side. The top has a single large ruffle that runs all the way around. It can be worn with or without straps, I just happen to be wearing it with.
My shoes are some killer new heels that I am wearing for the first time. They have wide double ankle straps that come off the toe area and criss cross the top of my foot before wrapping around the ankle to buckle. They are an alligator pattern in a shimmery peachy/flesh color.
I am wearing my faux diamond tennis bracelet, my wedding ring, a crystal costume ring, matching large silver link bracelet and necklace with large silver tear drop hoop earrings.
I was at a girl's night out party that was actually a surprise diapers and wipes baby shower for three women that live in our new neighborhood.

Keep in mind its evening now....I'm wearing my favorite Gap pj's. The bottoms are blue stretchy cotton capris with polkadots and the matching top has spaghetti straps and it flairs out at the bottom. they are the most comfy pj's I've ever owned.

   Recently dyed black hair (I've been told I look goth since my skin is back to pasty white after my spray tan wore off), makeup that I've been wearing since yesterday (it's almost 9am and I am home from work), brown (almost sheer) hippie-style cotton shirt with white cami underneath, black slacks, and strappy metallic sandals.
Geez, this sounded like a BOLO. I should add a vehicle description and direction of travel.

um, not cute as a button! Just got back from a football game in 90 degree heat, full sun of course. My maroon and gold team mom shirt, black work out shorts, bare feet, a very straggly pony tail, remnants of make up, probably quite smelly if anyone were to venture too close. I was reasonably presentable before I left the house, but that was hours ago. Finishing my wine then headed for the shower!

   Not too much cute as a buttoness going on today. Played all day yesterday, so running today to get ready for the work week. I'm wearing white capri's with a black tee and my comfy white with pink trim Sketchers (pedi needs an update). Short pony tail under my Pink baseball cap and off to the grocery store, then doing some laundry. Not too exciting, but the play day Saturday was worth it!

Old white sleeping t-shirt, red and pink dressing gown, recovering from some kind of influenza whith high fever and every other nasty symtom you can imagine. Very soon now, I'm going to take a shower and brush my teeth!
