You know I was thinking the same thing... I'm pretty sure that everyone here in Texas was going for the Saints. Except for "those people" you know the ones... they go for the other team just to start something with everyone else but.. end up changing their mind after their team loses and they insist "well I was actually going for this team the whole time..." right...

I watched the entire game. A first for me and I have to say I was bored out of my mind. I really don't like watching sports on tv. I even watched the halftime for the first time and was bored yet again. I kept thinking, "this is what the hype is all about?" It was like watching a concert on tv...which is what it was I guess. And the worst part is that in Canada they broadcast Canadian commercials over top of the American ones and so we don't get to see the great ads!!! Although I'm glad others enjoyed it including my DH apparently. Caro From Canada "Sober people don't join Polka bands" Oscar Leroy, Corner Gas |

I have to defend the Who for my generation. Yeah, their voices are a little rusty, but the music and light show were great and Pete Townshend still plays fantastic guitar. Don't forget that these "old geezers" are one of the reasons for the term "rock stars" and they were among the first to have big production rock concerts and light shows. They also pioneered the first rock opera, Tommy. Quadrophenia is a classic with some incredible, breakthough music. So give us older people a break for enjoying the music that we loved. We're just happy that our guys are still singing. Carolyn in Southeastern Virginia |
