"This made my day..."
 
   Yesterday I was visiting Mother at lunch in the nursing home. (For those of you who don't know, Mother was 101 years old last November.)
We were in the dining room and a new aide asked me if I was her GRANDDAUGHTER!!!! OH, happy day!!!

   I forgot to add that the opposite happened with my sister and I. We got pulled over for speeding once when I was following her to return a rental car to the airport. The officer made the grave error of referring to me as her daughter. Granted she is 14 years older than I am, but she FREAKED out, and the poor guy got so upset and tongue tied that he just kind of babbled something and jumped in his patrol car and left. I was laughing so hard that my sister had to drive home.
LOL!
