"Who's coming to Kristin Hannah signing?"

   So far, I think it's Robin, Cathie Linz, and me attending the Kristin Hannah signing at Anderson's next Tuesday, Feb. 9th. Anybody else?

   actually, I am planning on coming. I hadn't read her before your post so I got on mystic river to start and love love loved it! the best book I've read in quite some time. so I'm looking forward to it. I look forward to seeing you all there.

I'm there! I picked up my book and my number last night. I am planning to be downtown around 5:15 or so and will be eating dinner somewhere, if anyone cares to join me. Somewhere healthy and "cheap"...if that is possible. Respond to this post or send me an email if you're interested.

   She's one of my favorite writers. SEP says she's a terrific human being. That said, if I met her, I'm sure I'd stutter and stammer!

I got to meet her in Dallas and turned into a giant dork. I think I made sentences, but I get so anxious and could feel myself turn a thousand degrees.
I am about to start her latest book and can't wait. I've only heard good things. I got an early copy of True Colors so it's been FOREVER since I read a new book of hers.

   Unfortunately there isn't a Kindle edition of Winter Garden out. But... the audio is read by Susan Ericksen who is a favorite reader.

That stinks! It's available as an ebook though. I saw it yesterday on my nook, but I bought the hardcopy version. I started it last night and can't wait to dig in.

I also love Susan Erickson! I'll have to get the audio from the library in 6 months or so after I have read the book and forgotten it (I do that with all books...so I can read them ago and they seem new )

   I just realized I'll be in Chicago the day AFTER this for my big Oprah show!!!! I'm not sure how far away Andersons is from downtown Chicago but I should have planned this a little better. *sigh*

   It's looking like I'm going to have to bow out because of the snow - they are expecting over 6 inches by Tuesday night with heavy snow still falling at that time. Cathie the snow wimp.

   I guess I'll have to wait and see how the weather pans out. as of now there is a winter storm warning to post at 9 tonight til 4am wednesday. 6 to 12 inches plus.
if it was sep or cathie's signing dh would bring me, but he said not for someone we don't know. sigh.

   Karen, I hate to say this, but stick closer to home. I'm actually going to be driving Kristin to the signing, but my house isn't all that far from downtown Naperville, so should be okay. Coming from a distance, however....
