"I'm riveted by this..."

I haven't bought his book yet but I followed a link to Bill Clinton's blog. He is sharing a diary of his book signing tour and it is sooo interesting. I don't care what your politics are this is deeply revealing stuff! Which surprises me...I wonder if he will regret being so candid about some of this stuff. Some of the most interesting things to me were:
June 28---Dinner and clowning around with Robin Williams.
June 26---A deeply personal account of a recent encounter with his troubled brother, Roger. It's very moving.
June 25---Poker night with Kevin Spacey, Sean Penn and Alec Baldwin.
Plus his thoughts about women who still slip him their phone numbers.
June 24---His reaction to the comments of book critics.

Oh. My. Gosh. June 20th! I have mixed feelings about this. On one hand I think way to go Bill and Hilary but on the other I think this is way too private. I'd smack my husband if he ever wrote about our intimate relationship.

OMG #2 The blog is likely a fake. I thought it was getting a little too personal. But whoever wrote it did a very good parody of Clinton! I'm ticked off to find out I've been punked---I almost teared up over the entry about his brother Roger! Barbara PS. LOL...I'm sure I look nuts posting to myself but it's the only way I could add more to this subject. |

I'm relieved to hear it's a fake. No one in his right mind would write that intimately ibn the Internet would they? WHat's the proof that it's a fake?

I haven't found any proof positive that it is fake. It's just my opinion based on the fact that it mentioned Hillary doing the dishes. LOL...that was my first clue! I just couldn't picture the Senator doing the dishes after dinner, she has admitted she is not domestic many times. Plus it's way too revealing of personal stuff. If Lanie has any confirmation about it being fake I don't know about it. I can't imagine why the news media hasn't mentioned it either---perhaps because they know it's bogus. Maybe they will break the story when they discover who is writing the blog. It kind of reminds me of when the anonymous author wrote PRIMARY COLORS. It was eventualy made into the movie with John Travolta & Emma Thompson protraying the Clintonesque couple. Wasn't it later discovered that Bob Woodward was the author? I would sure like to know who the writer of the blog is. Oh, and what about the promise to autograph all copies of his book that were ordered by clicking on the Amazon link in the blog---wouldn't that be fraud? Barbara |

While in office Bill Clinton only wrote two emails and Bush has done the same while has been in office and one of those emails was to the familys of the space shuttle...They both know that everything they do via the internet can be tracked...especially email...this is why they refrain from doing it...therefore, I find it HIGHLY unlikely that the blog would be real...especially without getting a lot of media hype! But who knows!! Have a wonderful day! KW |

The blog has moved to a new site...
http://billclintondailydiary.blogspot.com/It probably got thrown off the old blog site but there is a excuse for the switch in the new one. LOL. It's interesting there were no comments about the PRIMETIME segement on his book release last night. I figured this blogger would have some interesting comment about it but nada.
