8. "on a mystery kick again"

   Tomorrow I will be starting In the Dark by Brian Freeman, #4 in his Jonathan Stride detective series. Today I finished Catering to Nobody by Diane Mott Davidson, the first in her Culinary Mystery series. This first book was written back in 1989, but it took her three years to get it published because no one wanted a mystery series involving a caterer and including recipes. If you are a fan of mysteries the way I am, you know there are now a whole bunch of authors who have jumped on the "mysteries with recipes" band wagon. Before that I read The Last Detective by Robert Crais, one of his books in the Elvis Cole detective series. Maybe I'll get back to romance next, but not sure yet.
