Breathing Room was my first SEP book.
I was on holidays and was sick of reading about serial killers in the books I'd taken away with me. I wandered into the book department of a shop and Breathing Room jumped out at me.
As soon as I got home I tracked down the earlier books and have been devouring SEP's books ever since
