49. "RE: what book got you started on SEP?"
In response to message #0
I read a mix of genres, but when I read romances I tend to stick with historicals. But every now and then I need a break from the virgins in empire-waist dresses, so I was in the library one day looking for something fun. Since I'm not as familiar with authors who write contemporary romances, I wasn't sure what I was looking for. I am definitely guilty of judging a book by its title and/or cover. If it's an author I'm not familiar with, the book better have a good title/cover to grab my attention. And so it was with "Match Me If You Can." It looked like just the fun book I needed.
I managed to read all the Stars books out of order, so I ended up going back and doing a proper job of it and in fact just finished rereading MMIYC and "Natural Born Charmer" this week. I like the Stars series the best out of all of SEP's book (series and stand alones), and "Ain't She Sweet" is my favorite stand alone book.
