The first SEP book I read was Nobody's Baby But Mine, and I was hooked from then on. A friend loaned it to me but even though I was in high school and was strapped for cash pretty much most of the time, I saved up to buy myself my own copy. Never regretted it too because I've read it like five or six times already. I also have a complete collection of her other works... I've been reading SEP for over a decade now.
